“The Hideout of Remorse” delves into a murky place within the human spirit, where doubts, disappointments, and difficult decisions take on a life of their own. Grappling with this darkness, the piece seems to depict an inner battle or struggle to escape from the haunting and persistent rhythms which fill the space. The piano eventually offers a sort of truce, drawing the controlled chaos to a gentle and hopeful close.
